Owner of Empire & European Foods, Sir Reginald has dealings with both the British and Nazi governments. He also owns a large estate near Hastings and during the episode, part of the war games are conducted on his land. His home is burgled by Harry Markham at the request of Stephen Beck. Markham takes a solid gold prayer box for himself instead of the letter Beck requested. Aware that his son smuggled the box into the country and in a desperate attempt to cover up his dealings with the Nazis, Sir Reginald begins burning documents. When the local salvage children try to rescue the paper, Sir Reginald sets the dogs on them.
